He was born in 1960 in Kars.
He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Kars and graduated from Ankara Hacettepe University in 1988.
He had his master degree in Physical Anthropology at the Ankara University. Currently he is enrolled for PhD at the Greenwich University in International Relations.
He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1988.
In addition to various departments in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he worked in the Turkish missions abroad in Dhaka, Jakarta, Rome, Astana, Marseille and in Dublin, respectively.
He has been serving as Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Karachi since December 2021.
He is the father of two children.
